From the fifth floor I can see the tree tops, the tops of palm trees, and lots of buildings. Not the kind of view available in the Coachella Valley. There are very few two story homes in the Coachella Valley and very few buildings with more than two floors and virtually no buildings with more than 4 floors. For whatever reason only a few hotels have more than one floor and it is a rarity to find a commercial building with more than one two floors in the desert. The views are nice from highway 74, but can’t get nice views from the valley. This results in lower population density add the numerous golf courses, date palm orchards, citrus orchards, and the density drops even further. We still get lots of traffic in the winter. During the date festival Indio gets overwhelmed, but there is really a very low population density in the desert.
