Among the less known traditional gifts are medjool date and assorted dated gift baskets. It was how I was first introduced to dates a long time ago. I thought they were chocolates covered with coconut. Turned out they were dates with coconut. They were the cheap dates, not the medjool dates, but not bad. Once I tasted the medjool date it was a whole different experience. It is kind of like when you get a gift box with chocolates from Wally world and a box of chocolates from Sees candys. There is a huge day and night difference, so if you are considering gifting dates, considered that there is a huge difference. One makes you look like a considerate individual, the other one makes you look cheap. Choose carefully, one is a career maker, the other is a career breaker.
