This is the time of year when we take vacation. It is not by design by necessity, customers have a lot of needs and wants and their needs and wants drop off around this time of year. I am sure a lot of people need and want medjool dates to ship out to their friends and family and to bring to their get togethers, but for the most part it is not a busy time of year. Not as busy as spring, summer or fall anyway. It is a time when there is a little breathing time and you can go do all sorts of things. Among them apparently is whale watching. Didn’t really know whale watching was a thing you could do in Southern California. There is a lot of stuff available it is a place with lot of stuff to do, there are the theme parks like Disneyland, Magic Mountain, Universal Studios, but there are lot of less known things and places like the musuem of natural history. The endless golf courses in Palm Springs and the surrounding communities, the awesome date orchards of course, and likes of hiking trails. Not too many lakes like Minnesota, but still plenty of lakes and mountains. Like many other families we are not leaving the state for vacation, but we don’t have too, we have lots of stuff to do at home, too many things, not enough time to do them all in 2 weeks, plus you have to do the relative thing and that includes a tour and inspection of grandpa’s medjool date orchard.
